The reconstruction project of Famen Temple is constructed by the People's Government of Shaanxi Province. The real pagoda is restored on the original site. The project of Famen Temple Museum is constructed for the purpose of collection and exhibition of the rare treasures unearthed from the underground palace of Tower of Famen Temple. The newly built Famen Temple Museum project includes nine individual projects such as Treasure Pavilion and Multi-function Hall etc. The architectural form is Tang-style architecture, and the modern communications, heating, automatic alarm, fire fighting and other facilities are built internally. The shape of real pagoda is the complete restore type of pagoda in the Ming Dynasty. Its internal part is the binocular cast reinforced concrete structure with the steel staircase and a total of 13 floors. The building area is of ??1699 square meters.
The project has been awarded one of ten projects in Shaanxi Province, first prize of the provincial quality engineering, Silver Medal of National Quality Engineering, and Luban Award of China State Construction Engineering etc. (Luban Award of China State Construction Engineering: set up in 1987, the award is also the highest honorary award of construction quality in domestic construction industry.
